CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) course includes 75 hours of classroom study, plus 100 hours supervised clinical training in a long-term care facility as required by Missouri Health and Senior Services. After clinical training is complete, MO state board exam must be passed to become licensed and qualify for employment in a long-term care facility.
FTC must be notified within 24 hours of the state exam of anyone NOT taking the exam. If a student fails to show for a scheduled initial exam or fails to give a 24 hour cancellation notice, the $130 exam fee will be forfeited. A student will not be allowed to reschedule an initial exam unless the $130 reschedule exam fee is paid. Exam fees are non-refundable. Students must schedule the initial exam at least two weeks prior to the exam date.
Students scheduling a repeat exam will be responsible for paying the examiner an $80 repeat exam fee prior to the start of testing. The $80 fee must be paid in cash directly to the examiner. Students must schedule the repeat exam at least two weeks prior to the exam date.
Student must complete the entire course (including passing the final exam) within one (1) year of the class start date.
