A financial aid officer and loan counselor are available to assist students in applying for financial aid to meet the costs of their vocational school program.


Franklin Technology Center is rich with history and tradition. Secondary training with the vocational school began in Joplin in 1937 with about 24 students.

Franklin Tech has been around since 1937 and is a not-for-profit administered by Joplin Schools.  Needless to say, we’re not going anywhere, and we place the highest priority on providing students with a usable education that prepares them for a successful career in their chosen field.
