Facebook: Getting Started

October 18, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

$30

Facebook can be a great site to connect with family and friends, but it can also be dangerous if used improperly. In this class, we will discuss how to safely use Facebook and get the most out of it. There are many parts to Facebook. The student will learn what each part is (wall, timeline, notifications, messenger, “tagging”, marketplace, pages, etc…) as well as how to use them. Students will learn how to send and accept friend requests, how to create a post, how to tell if an account is fake, how to set up privacy settings, how to build your profile, and even proper Facebook etiquette. The students can learn how to sell your old, unused items on Facebook.
