She has held the roles of teacher, business program coordinator, recruiter for adult students, and coordinator for FTC’s adult trade and technology programs. She will now take over the responsibilities for FTC’s adult facility as Assistant Director of Post-Secondary Education.
Dave Rockers, FTC director, commented, “Penny has a wealth of experience with the Adult Education Program over 20 years at Franklin Technology Center. Her education background and experience in industry prior to entering the education field makes her an outstanding person to take this leadership position. Her knowledge of existing programs and operations will allow her to ‘hit the ground running’ as she takes this lead role.”
Williams earned an associate’s degree in business and industrial supervision from Labette Community College, a bachelor’s degree in vocational technical education from Pittsburg State University, and a master’s degree in teaching from Missouri State University in partnership with Missouri Southern State University.
